R Meets Nissan R35 GT



After many years on the forbidden fruit list, the Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R is fair game in America. With even more high-tech features than before, the R34 Skyline sold in modest numbers and was finally phased out in 2002, the 350Z sating the appetite of Nissan performance enthusiasts until the R35 GT-R arrived with its own stock of jaw-dropping feats performed on that snaking piece of tarmac through the Eifel mountains.

Officially sanctioned by Nissan but built by Autech in 1998, it was designed to celebrate the Skyline's 40th anniversary (not the GT-R's). The 2017 Nissan GT-R performance coupe gets a new hood, grille and bumper design that improve frontal downforce for better handling.

That said, oiling can be an issue for the former, as the early cars have narrow-drive oil pumps. Car magazines loved the Z, and rightly so, as its combination of power, looks, and performance is captivating. The Nissan GT-R has got an ideally sized, fuel-efficient and high performance engine.

Enthusiast drivers rave over the earlier R32 model, being smaller and lighter than its successors. Relentless grip, astonishing lap times, and tons of turbo sizzle propel the 2018 Nissan GT-R to legend. Nissan GT-R price starts at ₹ 2.12 Crores. The Nissan GT-R conquers corners and tackles racetracks with a ferocity that is unlike anything else in its price segment.

Starting with the coupe shell of ‘cooking' Skylines, Nissan's engineers aggressively widened the track, necessitating swollen wheelarches. The base Pure model has power features, heated front seats, leather upholstery, navigation, Bluetooth audio streaming, and performance run-flat tires.

Hold on tight because the GT-R's combo of turbo power and all-wheel drive will stretch your neck in the corners. A stylish Black Edition model has been added to the lineup, the V6 pumps out even more horsepower and the GT-R's exterior design is more aerodynamic than ever.

The 2018 Nissan GT-R performance coupe adds a new, lower-priced Pure model to the lineup. Perhaps the daddy of all Skyline-era GT-R special editions was Nissan Skyline GT-R this, the phenomenal Nismo Z-Tune. In January, 1999, the fifth generation of the Nissan Skyline GT-R was released.
